On Mar. 11, Tainan City Government announced four newly confirmed cases.
Case #21261 is a female in her thirties living in Baihe District. She has received three doses of the vaccine. On Mar. 8, she started to experience a cough, runny nose and stuffy nose. On Mar. 10, she acquired the at-home rapid test kit from the health station; the result of her test is positive. On Mar. 11, she was confirmed as COVID-19 case through PCR test with a Ct value of 17.61.
Case #21262 is a female in her seventies living in Yanshui District who has completed a dose of the vaccine. She has already been experiencing chronic cough and is a neighbor of Yanshui’s Case# 20973(they live in the same community). She received the community specimen collection on Mar. 10 and was confirmed as COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 16.36 on Mar. 11.
Case #21263 is a male in his seventies living in Yanshui District who has completed a dose of the vaccine. He showed no symptoms. He received the community specimen collection on Mar. 10 since Yanshui’s Case# 20973 was confirmed as COVID-19 case. Case #21263 then was confirmed as COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 18.36 on Mar. 11.
Case #21297 is a male in his thirties living in Xinying District who hasn’t received any vaccine. On Mar. 6, he experienced a cough, runny nose and stuffy nose. Since his girlfriend Case #21262 was confirmed as COVID-19 case, he was identified to conduct home isolation and received specimen collection on Mar. 10. On Mar. 11, he was confirmed as COVID-19 case through PCR test with a Ct value of 18.75.
The footprints of the above-mentioned cases are listed in the attachment. All the places are cleaned and disinfected. Case #21261, Case #21297, Case #21083 have all attended the “2022 Dongshan Dist. Corn Maze Activity”. The city government urges citizens who had the same footprint to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit from health stations. From Mar. 11 to Mar. 13, Tainan City sets up rapid test sites in Yanshui and Baihe districts (please see the attachment). Citizens can accept the screening with your ID Card and National Insurance Card.
