1. Press Releases
--Involved in press releases about Tainan City Government’s actions and projects, progress on plans, and answering citizens’ questions and concerns.
--Take pictures of government-run events and then share them with many different media companies in order to help spread news.
--Regulate and manage audio-visual material recorded by city government.
--Responsible for agenda, press releases, and related media activities that involve mayor and/or city government.
--Advise and explain important decrees and regulations that are issued or repealed.
--Assist the city government’s bureaus, departments, offices, and commissions in spreading information about press releases concerning city government policies.
--Assist the city government’s bureaus, departments, offices, and commissions in spreading information about important events.
2. Public Response
--Help carry out and promote opinion polls as well as other communication channels.
--Collect public opinions from newspaper and magazine articles, and then edit and summarize information.
3. Contacting Media Organizations
--Arrange journalist and reporter friendship events.
--Compile Media Contacts Report.
