On Apr. 5, Tainan City Government announced a newly confirmed case. Case #25000 is a female in her twenties living in Yanshui District. As a case from Chunghua County (Case # 24999) was tested positive through a rapid test on Apr. 4, the two cases visited a hospital altogether for specimen collection and were confirmed as COVID-19 cases through PCR. Case # 25000’s Ct value is 29.
Footprints of Case # 25000 were listed in the attachment. All of her contacts had received specimen collection; 4 of them were identified to conduct home isolation, self-health management or self-health monitoring.
Citizens can acaquire a COVID-19 home test kit with one’s ID card from any of 37 district health sations in Tainan City on Apr. 6 and Apr. 7 (08:00-12:00, 13:30-17:30); the test result shall be reported within 24 hours after acquisition.
