On Mar. 24, Tainan City Government announced a newly confirmed case. Case #22455 is a male in his fifties living in Yongkang District with a completing of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination. He started to experience a sore throat and running nose on Mar. 22 but did not seek medical attention nor take medicine. As he works in the same place with Case #22394 from Kaohsiung City, he was identified to undertake home isolation and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 15.5 after receiving specimen collection. Besides, Case #22453 from Kaohsiung City, who is also the colleague of Case #22394, had visited Tainan on Mar. 20.
Footprints of Case #22455 from Tainan City as well as Case #22453 are listed in the attachment. The city government urges those who took the same TRA train as Case #22455 did between Mar. 18 and Mar. 23 to reach district health stations of North, East and Yongkang to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with ID card at 8:00-12:00 and 13:30-17:30 of Mar. 24 and Mar. 25.
