On March 20, Tainan City announced one newly confirmed case#22038, a female in her 50s, living in Yanshui District. Case#22038 is an asymptomatic case and hasn’t received any dose of the COVID-19 vaccine yet. Because she was under home isolation during the contagious period, there is no activity footprints in Tainan city, and the risk of community infection is relatively small.
Case#22038 is the daughter of case#21262 and case#21263. Due to case#21262 and 21263 were announced as confirmed cases on March 10, then she was identified to undertake home isolation. Before the expiry of her quarantine period, she was arranged by the health bureau to take the specimen test, then got a positive diagnosis, and the Ct value was 16.36.
