On Feb. 14, Kaohsiung City announced Case #19732 (a male in his twenties). This case undertook the specimen collection and then was confirmed as a COVID-19 case since his mother is a confirmed case. The period of communicability is speculated to be “Feb. 9 to Feb. 13”.
According to case investigation, the case has been to Tainan on Feb. 3 and Feb. 12. As several children who are studying in an elementary school and a kindergarten in Tainan have contacted with the case, they were identified to undertake home isolation. The classes to which they belong will preliminarily suspend for two days and other classes in the same school will suspend for one day. Citizens who have been to same places as the case did, please reach to 37 districts health stations of Tainan City with your ID card to acquire a COVID-19 home test kit for self-assessment on Feb. 14 (before 17:30) or Feb.15 and Feb. 16 (08:00-12:00; 13:30-17:30).
