On September 2, Tainan City Government announced the footprints of an imported Case #16116, a female in her thirties who didn’t present any symptoms. She entered Taiwan from South Africa on August 27 and tested COVID-19 negative by her first self-paid test on August 31. However, the result of her second self-paid test on September 1 is COVID-19 positive. She had stayed in Tainan for a short time before heading to a quarantine hotel. Case #16116’ s footprints in Tainan are listed as the appendix below. She has no contacts in Tainan City.
