On Apr. 6, Tainan City Government announced a newly confirmed case. Case #24993 is a teenager living in East District who had received 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. He visited Kenting for “Taiwan Music Festival” from Apr. 1 to Apr. 3. On Apr. 3, he was identified to undergo home isolation since he contacted with Taipei’s Case #24399. On Apr. 4, he started to show symptoms like fever, sore throat and headache; after his specimen collection, he was then confirmed as a COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 13.
