Tainan City Government announced the footprints of a confirmed case (Case# 16254) from Taipei City on September 20. She had been confirmed as a COVID-19 case abroad in 2020 according to her statement. She returned to Taiwan in July, 2021 and tested negative after the home quarantine period; since she intended to go abroad, she underwent a self-paid test and was confirmed COVID-19 positive on September 19. There are 6 people in Tainan who are asked to undergo self-health management and their COVID-19 test results on September 22 are all negative.
