Tainan City Government announced to remain carry-out only for night markets and food services since July 13 (2021/07/10)

On July 10, Tainan City Government announced on its daily disease prevention and control press conference that after discussing with various food services related unions, dine-in services in Tainan City will be terminated until July 26, in light with the not yet stable pandemic situation as well as doubts over such services from a range of sectors. The city government expressed its gratitude to operators of food services for tiding over the difficulties together.

In addition, currently 30 night markets have received approvals to resume operations after submitting their disease prevention and control protocols to the city government. They will gradually reopen since July 12. The city government not only asked vendors to equip with face masks, face shields, gloves and food covers, but also asked operators of night markets to comply with capacity limitation for the venue and to strengthen sanitation and disinfection. Moreover, after discussing with representatives of night market operators, it is decided to follow the principle of carry-out only for the night markets.
