Descriptions of Six COVID-19 Cases in Tainan City and One Case from New Taipei City (2021/05/28)

On May 28, Tainan City Government announced six newly confirmed cases. There are three cases living together in Sigang District (Case#7007, #7008, #7009), while other three cases reside as a family in Baihe District (Case#7318, #7319, Case#7320).

 

Case #7007 and Case #7008, who are a couple in both their sixties, are family members of Case #6422 from New Taipei City. The couple had stayed in Banqiao from May 12 to May 23 and experienced the onset of symptoms on May 24. They went to a hospital for specimen collection and testing with Case #7009 who is in his twenties and without any symptoms on May 26, and then all be confirmed as COVID-19 cases.         

     

Case #7318 and Case #7320 are a couple in both their seventies as well as grandparents of Case #7319 who is in his twenties. They had contacted with one of their relatives (Case # 6443 from New Taipei City) during his stay in Tainan on May 23, and symptoms had shown on Case #7318 and Case # 7319 on May 25. These three persons then went to a hospital for specimen collection and testing and were confirmed as positive on May 27.
