Tainan City announces one confirmed COVID-19 case on May 22 (Case #3615) and two confirmed cases on May 23 (Case #4221). These are all male cases who have shown contact history with the God of Rensheng Temple at Xuejia District. Below is their trace information. All these sites mentioned have been thoroughly sanitized and disinfected.

1. Case #3615

2. 5/14&18&21  06:30-10:00:  Annan District Food and Vegetable Market (No. 102, Yian Rd., Annan District)

2. Case #4018

   2. 5/16  14:00-16:00  Tainan’s RT-Mart (No. 310, Sec. 2, Linan Rd., Taipei District)

In addition, two confirmed cases from other cities (one from Taipei City and the other from Nantou County) also had traces in Tainan City, as below. All of these sites have been fully sanitized and disinfected.

   2. 5/17  15:45-16:30  Park Front braised Spanish Mackerel thick soup shop (No. 265, Gongyuan Rd., North District)
   3. 5/17  16:30-19:00  Tainan City Party (No. 69, Gongyuan South Rd., North District)
   4. 5/17  19:26-19:33  Took Taiwan Railway No. 3252 from Tainan Main Station to Yongkang Station, and then his friend drove him to Kaohsiung.
2. Case #3614 (From Nantou County)
   1. 5/20  Afternoon  Guanmiao Highway Service Area

If you have been at above locations around the indicated time and date for at least 15 minutes, and you did not practice social-distancing and mask-wearing during your staying, you are categorized as “COVID-19 high-risk group” and are qualified for testing. Please head to your nearest testing station to do the testing and screening. Tainan City government would also call on citizens that if you are not part of the “COVID-19 high-risk group”, please do not rush to the testing station due to panic. This behavior will not only create burden to the medical professionals but also increase risk of cluster infection.
