Tainan City announced two new local infections of COVID-19 cases on May 18 (Case #2355 and Case #2428, a mother and a son). Case #2355 showing symptoms on May 14 and was confirmed on May 18 daybreak. Case #2428 was subsequently confirmed during the contact tracing of Case #2355.
According to contact investigation result by the Bureau of Public Health, Case #2355 mainly stayed at home or visited neighbors, so it was speculated that she was infected by her son (Case #2428), who had travel history to Wanhua.

- 5/2 06:00 Took Ho-Hsin bus from Xinying to Sanchong (then head to Wanhua).
- 5/2 23:15 Took Ho-Hsin bus from Sanchong to Xinying.
- 5/5 Morning Visited Yanshui wet market.
- 5/7 06:01 Took Ho-Hsin bus from Xinying to Sanchong (then head to Wanhua).
- 5/7 23:15 Took Ho-Hsin bus from Sanchong to Xinying.
- 5/12 Morning Visited Yanshui wet market.
- 5/17 Morning Drove to Yanshui Niu-hsu market, and Yanshui wet market. He then went with Case #2355 to the hospital.
Above venues including Yanshui wet market, Ho-hsin bus, Yanshui Niu-hsu all have been conducted disinfection and sanitization on May 18. Citizens please no need to panic.
