Tainan Launches Joint Service Center for Relief and Revitalization Measures for COVID-19: One-stop Consultation to Address Urgent Needs of Citizens and Businesses

Tainan City activated its Joint Service Center for Relief and Revitalization Measures for COVID-19 (Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens) on April 29. The Joint Service Center is established on the first floor of the Yonghua Administration Center to provide the public with the latest and most relevant information on relief and revitalization measures. The one-stop consultation counters integrate services from the Labor Affairs Bureau, Social Affairs Bureau, Economic Development Bureau, Tourism Bureau, Civil Affairs Bureau, and Consumer Protection Office.

There are three main advantages in setting up one-stop service counters. First, Tainan citizens can visit the Center in person to inquire about and apply for the relief programs. Secondly, individuals can also call the Joint Service Center directly, without having to be transferred to different phones line or offices. Thirdly, when the central government makes any revisions concerning these relief and revitalization measures, the Center will be first to know and can immediately notify and update the citizens in Tainan. The Tainan City Government is absolutely committed to addressing the urgent needs of both individuals and businesses and providing timely, effective relief to see people through this difficult time, be it loans or cash assistance for workers and people in need. That’s why the City is taking immediate action in setting up the Joint Service Center and providing one-stop consultation services.
