Epidemic Investigation and Sanitization Completed for the Newly Confirmed Dunmu Fleet Member Case Reported on April 20(update:4/24)

According to the latest epidemic investigation in Tainan, a new Dunmu (敦睦) Fleet navy member was added as a newly confirmed Covid-19 case in the evening of April 20. The following are the traces of the individual’s activities that took place in Tainan:
 

April 15
15:10-15:40 Took Chu-kuang Express to Tainan Train Station, and returned home via epidemic prevention taxi.
19:00-19:30 Dined at Liu’s Shantou Noodles in Central-Western District.
19:30-20:10 Had shave ice at Jia-hsiang Shave Ice Shop in Central-Western District.

April 16
11:45-11:50 Went to Tseng Urology Clinic in North District.
12:03-12:09 Shopped at Mini-Mini tea shop in North District.
16:20-18:30 Worked out at the Yong Hua Civic Sports Center (weights and treadmill areas).
19:30-20:10 Dined at Li-ming Tepanyaki Restaurant in North District.
20:46-21:13 Went to Zhang-yong motorcycle repair shop in Central-Western District.
21:19-21:23 Shopped at Zui-chan Taiwanese popcorn chicken stand in North District.

April 17
09:58 Dined at Xiao huo-che breakfast shop in North District.
12:30-14:30 Mo-Mo-Paradise Sukiyaki Restaurant at T.S. Dream Mall (Dined with the confirmed case from Chiayi City).
14:30-19:00 Basketball court at Guangfu campus of National Cheng Kung University.

April 18
11:30 Reported at Tainan Park to head to the quarantine station.
12:30-12:40 Shopped at the Family Convenience Store at Tainan Transit Station.
15:30-15:40 Went to the restroom at Tainan Transit Station.

 

For all these aforementioned sites visited by the confirmed cases, the Tainan City Government has conducted and completed thorough indoor and outdoor sanitization measures on April 21. The city government urges businesses to practice self-management, and has identified individuals that require home isolation. In addition, starting from April 23, campuses of all senior high schools and below in Tainan are no longer opened to the public to ensure the health and safety of school faculty and students. The measure will not be relaxed until the outbreak subsides.  

 

Mayor Huang Wei-che reminds that for those who had been nearby the sites at the given time slots, please enforce self-health management for 14 days, practice hand hygiene, and wear face masks. If you experience any related symptoms, please contact CDC Hotline 1922 or the local health center at 06-288-0180 for immediate medical assistance.

 

The city government would also like to convey to the public that all Dunmu (敦睦) Fleet navy members had reported back to the quarantine station as of April 18. Based on the epidemic investigation results in Tainan, all contact tracing information of the confirmed cases have been released on the designate Covid-19 webpage of Tainan City’s official website. Citizens should not follow or believe in online rumors nor spread false information to avoid punishment.
