Tainan City Government Announces More Covid-19 Contact Tracing Information, Urging Citizens to Boost Self-health Management Efforts

In face of the Covid-19 cluster infection concerning the Dunmu (敦睦) Fleet navy members, the Tainan City Government works closely with the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) to engage in epidemic investigation and to provide most updated contact tracing information. Citizens in Tainan should keep vigilant, but should not panic, as all related sites have been fully disinfected. 

 

The following are activity traces of the newly confirmed Covid-19 patients, one from Tainan and three from other cities or countie

     1.April 16

  • Garden Night Market (Temperature taken at entrance and found no fever)

     2.April 17

  • A classroom in a business building located at No. 81, Chong-syue Road, East District (All classroom participants wore masks and are now under home-isolation)
  • CHIMEI Museum surrounding area
  • Beard Zhong Beef Soup on Section 3 of Min-zu Rd
  • Dear House Hostel
  • Beimen District and Syuejia District (including Nankunshen Dai-tian Temple, Beimen Bao-an Temple, Qian-lai-ye Grocery Store, Crystal Church, Beimen salt fields, and a scallion pancake eatery nearby Syuejia Junior High School.

 

Tainan City Government has ensured thorough cleaning and sanitization of all the aforementioned sites and the Tainan Transit Station. Mayor Huang Wei-che reminds all citizens to maintain social distance, wear masks, and practice hand hygiene. For those who have visited the sites at those given time slots, please practice self-health management.
