Protection of Rights and Interests for Household Customers of Cable Television
Based on regulations found in Article 55 of Cable Radio and Cable Television Law, a system provider and customer must conclude a written contract. 
                                                
The written contract should be printed on the back of the receipt given to the customer.
 
Taiwan’s central authorities must announce what stipulations and provisions are required to be in the standard contract and what stipulations and provisions cannot be included. A standard contract that does not abide by the rules and regulations mentioned above will be considered null and void. The effectiveness of the standard contract is based on rules and regulations found in Article 16 of the Consumer Protection Act.
