The four cases Tainan City Government announced on Mar. 8 are contacts of the previously announced Case #20974 who lives in Yanshui District. They contacted on a shuttle bus when Case #20974 was heading to a hospital for rehabilitation. These cases were identified to undertake home isolation on Mar. 6 and were confirmed as COVID-19 cases on Mar. 7
Case #21031 is a female in her sixties living in Yanshui District who has completed 2 doses of the vaccine. She is an accompanying person of Case #21032. She experienced chronic cough and the symptom went worse on Mar. 1; her Ct Value is 10.24.
Case #21032 is a male in his sixties living in Yanshui District who has completed a dose of the vaccine. He showed no symptoms with Ct Value 31.5.
Case #21033 is a male in his forties confined to bed and living in Yanshui District. He showed no symptoms with Ct Value 12.77.
Case #21034 is a female in her thirties from Indonesia who has completed 3 doses of the vaccine. She had accompanied her employer to a hospital for rehabilitation. She started to cough and experience a sore throat on Mar. 4, but she didn’t seek any medical attention. Her Ct Value is 14.06.
The footprints of the above-mentioned cases are listed in the attachment. All the places are cleaned and disinfected. The city government urges citizens who live in Yanshui District and Xinying District to receive specimen collection in the announced locations and on the announced times (make sure one brings the ID Card and National Insurance Card). From Mar. 3 to Mar. 10, citizens are able to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with your ID Card from health stations of the 37 districts.
