On Apr. 12, Tainan City Government announced eight newly confirmed cases. (Even though the CECC announced that nine cases are from Tainan, one of them has been confirmed as an imported case.)
Case #28814 is the father of Case #27101 (a boy announced on Apr. 10), who is part of a cluster infection occurred in a cram school. He lives in Yongkang District and showed symptoms during undertaking home isolation.
There are two cases relevant to a Kaohsiung’s entertainment venue cluster. Asymptomatic Case #28519, who lives in West-central District, is the mother of Case #27654 (a boy announced yesterday). Case #28307 is a boy less than ten years old living in North District. He lives together with several cases of a family cluster (announced on Apr. 10); he experienced symptoms during undertaking home isolation.
Case #28306 (a female in her forties living in Cigu District) and Case #28308 (a male in his forties living Xinying District) are both Case #27112’s colleagues (announced before). They both developed symptoms when conducting home isolation.
Besides, contact histories of three cases listed below are under investigation.
Case #28646 is a male in his thirties living in South District with a fever. He had visited Taoyuan on Apr. 6;
Case #28646 is a female in her forties living in South District with a fever;
Case #28815 is a female in her twenties living in Jiali District with a sore throat, she had visited to Taitung with two cases from Kaohsiung.
Footprints of the above-mentioned cases were listed in the attachment. The city government urges citizens who had visited the same place as these cases did to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with the ID card from any of 37 district health stations in Tainan City on Apr. 12 and Apr. 13 (0800-12:00, 1330-1730); please be sure to report the test result within 24 hours after acquisition.
