On Apr. 11, Tainan City Government announced 6 newly confirmed cases.
Case #27654 is a boy aged under ten living in North District. He is a kindergarten classmate of Case #27099 (announced yesterday). Case #27981 is Case #27654’s contact; she is under one year old and she stayed home all the time showing no symptoms.
Case #27855 and #28169 are brothers living in East District. Case #27855 is Annan District’s Case #21107’s (announced yesterday) rugby coach. He showed symptoms earlier than Case #21107. Case #28619 had contact history of a Pingtung’s entertainment venue.
Case #28167 and #28168 are a couple in their twenties living in Yongkang District. Since they showed symptoms, they visited a clinic and tested positive by the rapid test; they were confirmed as COVID-19 cases by PCR testing. Their contact history is under investigation.
Footprints of the above-mentioned cases were listed in the attachment. The city government urges citizens who had visited the same place as these cases did to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with the ID card from any of 37 district health stations in Tainan City on Apr. 11 (13:30-17:30) and Apr. 12 (0800-12:00, 1330-1730); please be sure to report the test result within 24 hours after acquisition.
