On Apr. 10, Tainan City Government announced eighteen newly confirmed cases. (Even though the CECC announced that twenty cases are from Tainan, two of them have been confirmed as cases from another city/county.)
Case # 27101、# 27102、# 27103、# 27104、# 27105、# 27106 and # 27291 are all elementary students (aged under 12) who study in a English cram school in which Case #27626 teaches. Case #28626 had a travel history to Hualian County. These seven cases all experienced symptoms and are all from Yongkang District.
Case #27521 is a male in his thirties living in Anping District. He travelled with several cases announced before and is undergoing home isolation. He has an itchy throat.
Case # 27098、27099、27100, as well as Case # 26792 announced yesterday, live together in North District. Case #27098 and # 27099 had been to Kaohsiung City where they contacted with Case # 25782.
Case #27108、#27109、#27110、#27111、#27112 and #27113 live together in Jiangjun District. Among these six cases, the youngest one is less than 10 years old while the oldest one is over sixty years old. As Case #26047 had visited this family on Apr. 6, six family members are confirmed as COVID-19 cases.
Case #27107 is a junior high school student living in Annan District. He had a fever and his contact history is under investigation.
Footprints of the above-mentioned cases were listed in the attachment. The city government urges citizens who had visited the same place as these cases did to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with the ID card from any of 37 district health stations in Tainan City on Apr. 10 (14:00-17:00) and Apr. 11 (08:00-12:00、13:30-17:00) ; please be sure to report the test result within 24 hours after acquisition.
