Footprints of Two Newly Confirmed Cases from Yunlin County and Kaohsiung City Respectively (Case #25350, #25257)

On Apr. 6, Tainan City Government announced footprints of two newly confirmed cases that are from Yunlin County and Kaohsiung City respectively.

Case #25350 is a female in her thirties from Yunlin County. She had received one dose of COVID-19 vaccination. On Apr. 5, she conducted a rapid test before back to her job and was tested positive. She then was arranged to receive specimen collection and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case through PCR with a Ct value of 11.58.

Case #25257 is a male in his twenties from Kaohsiung City with a completion of three doses of COVID-19 vaccination. Around noon of Apr. 5, he started to experience symptoms such as headache, running nose and fatigue and he therefore visited a clinic. As his rapid test showed a positive result, he was referred to a hospital for specimen collection and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case with a Ct value of 17.3.

Footprints of these two cases were listed in the attachment. The city government urges citizens who had visited the same place as Case #25350 did to acquire a COVID-19 home-test kit with the ID card from any of 37 district health stations in Tainan City on Apr. 6 and Apr. 7 (08:00-12:00、13:30-17:30); please be sure to report the test result within 24 hours after acquisition.
