On Jan. 28, Tainan City Government announced the footprints of a newly confirmed case. Case #18712, a female in her thirties who lives in Yongkang District, dined together with her friend (Case #18703) in Kaohsiung on Jan. 23. She started to show symptoms including fever, body aches and sore throat on Jan. 26. After learning that Case #18703 was confirmed as a COVID-19 case, she then went to the hospital for specimen collection and was thus confirmed as a COVID-19 case.
For Case #18712’s footprints, please see the attachment. All the places she has been to are all cleaned and disinfected. The specimens of her relevant contacts have all been collected; 32 people of them are undergoing home isolation while others are conducting self-health management.
