On Jan. 26 Tainan City Government announced the footprints of a confirmed case from New Taipei City. Case #18612 is a male in his forties with a completed primary series vaccination. He started to experience symptoms such as a running nose and sore throat on Jan. 25 and was confirmed as a COVID-19 case on Jan. 26. He had visited Shanhua District on Jan. 23 and 24 to meet friends. His footprints are listed in the appendix and all mentioned location had been cleaned and disinfected. Those who had contact history with him during his stay in Tainan had all been identified.
