On June 11, Tainan City Government announced a newly confirmed case (Case #12584). Case #12584 is a male in his eighties and also the husband of Case #9885(announced on June 3; Baihe cluster infection related). He showed the symptom of diarrhea on June 10. He then tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing the specimen collection in a hospital. Due to his wife’s infection, he had been conducting home quarantine before his onset of illness; as a result, there are no footprints in public venues of him and his contacts all tested negative preliminarily.
